your function, here is a list of common questions and answers:

Question: “Why should I hire Quicksilver for my function?”
Answer:

“You can depend on us to help make your event a memorable occasion. We’re reliable, professional people. We're punctual. We understand our business and are willing to work together with you at every step. We believe live music turns a regular occasion into a "special" occasion. After we perform at your function, we are confident that you'll agree."

Question: “Do you only play weekends? Only around Calgary?”
Answer:

“We mostly do weekends, specializing in formal functions where everything needs to be "just right". We can travel as well, provided we have some advanced notice. Our work throughout the year is about 80% private functions and 20% in public locations."

Question: "How much do you charge?"
Answer: "Pricing depends on the place, time, and size of your function - call us for a quote. There are some seasonal factors as well. Our pricing is very favorable compared to other groups. On top of this, we provide extra value in many instances at no extra charge."
Question: "How do you pick which songs to perform?"
Answer: "We are constantly refining our show, based on feedback from our clients, and the response from the audience. We are able to tailor our show more or less in the direction of any one musical style, but from our years of experience, we find that our "variety show" always pleases audiences of all ages and tastes. If you have any specific requirements, just give us a call to find out how our comprehensive repetoire can be adjusted to your needs."
Question: “I have a limited budget. Any chance I could still get you guys to play?”
Answer: “We're surprisingly affordable. Why not call us to find out? We will be pleased to provide a quote, without any obligation. A very unique thing about our group is our scalability from a four piece band to a trio or duo version of the group. This makes Quicksilver affordable for practically any kind of function."

"OK... what's the next step I need to take to reserve your group?"
Answer:
"There are only a few steps to consider: Remember, we work hard to take care of the details, leaving you more time to focus on other areas of your event."

1. First, we need to find out if Quicksilver is available for the date you have in mind. Give us a call as soon as possible at 1-800-588-9498. Or, you can send us an email:

2. If we are available for your date(s), then you would let us know about any unique concerns that you have for your function. At this point we will promptly provide a quote to you.

3. Once you approve of the quote, we'll fax out our standard agreement to you, and await its return to confirm the reservation. A cheque for 50% of the amount is required for the deposit, with the balance due on the date of your function. Many of our clients have provided a post-dated cheque for the function date, along with the deposit which is sent in advance. This can make it easier for your corporate accounting department, and is also one less detail for you to take care of later on.
